The Nigerian Dream is about having your own personal dream and living it in spite of the many discouraging and difficult factors in the country.
It is a call to action for every Nigerian and lover of Nigeria, so that we can jointly build a nation that becomes our pride as well as the envy of other nations.
You may ask, ‘Where is the Nigerian Dream?’ It lies in the bellies of so many of our country men in the forgotten corners of Maiduguri where bombs and shelling are now as common as the air they breathe.
The dream is right there in the eyes of our students in higher institutions studying under tattered roofs and behind crumbling desks. (And who have been home for 4months now and still counting)
The dream is right there in the bellies of the millions of Nigerian youths toiling away in the wilderness; and pregnant with great ideas for change.
The dream is there in the struggles of the indefatigable and vibrant civil servant, who wakes at 4am to beat the lagos traffic, and doesn’t get back till 11pm.
The dream is there in the tools of millions of Nigerians from all walks of life standing for diligence, justice and honesty.
Stories of young Nigerians with stories of their personal struggles in pursuit of the Nigerian dream will be shared on this blog. Look out for them by subscribing to our RSS feed.
