Letter to a Young Hustler. L2YH 2

Dear Young Hustler, Hope you are doing great and keeping the hustle alive. It's been a while since we last corresponded -yeah life can sometimes throw us some curved balls. Things don't always go as planned. However,we have to keep moving and adapting to the ever-changing landscape. Anticipate...Adjust...or Die!!! So,back to where we left off. Like I iterated previously,every great dream or vision has been brought to life amidst great pain and perseverance. Unfortunately,most people do not realize this. And even if they do,are not really ready to pay such a price. Having said that, I will like to share another thought with you,as it concerns chasing our dreams. I call it the principle of "Deliberateness". I have found out that no exceptional dream or vision is just stumbled upon. What I mean is that no exceptional dream or vision has been accomplished just by accident. The conception of the dream might have been accidental or stumbled upon,but the actualization wasn't. There comes a moment when some definite and deliberate decisions and steps are taken,to ensure that the dream becomes a reality. Sadly,this is a reality that is fast escaping the consciousness of so many young ones today. They suddenly believe(wrongly,if I might add) that somehow,someway,their dreams of success and greatness will become a reality- somehow. But that's not how it works. No worthwhile dream or vision has ever been accomplished somehow. Behind every great vision,goal or dream,you will find this- definite steps were taken,deliberate action was involved,and demanding sacrifices were required,So on your path to greatness,you must become deliberate. You can't just spend your time anyhow,or live your life anyhow. Not every fraternizing or association is meant for you. You must seize control of your destiny. Don't hang out with just about any or every body. You must realize that your two greatest resources are your "time and your mind", and they must never be left at the mercy of everything or everyone that comes along. You must become deliberate about how you use them. Am sure you are realizing that a lot of sacrifice will be needed on your part. This is because most of us have lived our lives so far,according to the whims and caprices of external forces and factors- friends, relatives,acquaintances,entertaining distractions...you name it. Well that has to change. If you must keep the company of the great,then you must become deliberate with your life- think about that. I will be writing you soon. In the meantime,keep the hustle alive. ....#we hustle on!!!
